Hello all,

Does anyone have a spare boiler cover for Tyco's ATSF 4-6-0 steam locomotive? Please PM me ASAP if so, as I really need 1.

Thanks.

No, I don't. Sorry. There's users on eBay who have the parts, but at high prices, although I'm sure you have already checked there.

No, I mean the actual boiler "face" on the front of the locomotive. My 4-6-0 is missing the front boiler cover, and I've seen the prices on Ebay....at that rate, I'll be better off buying a parts locomotive.

Yeah, and unfortunately theres no shows to go to right now.

I do have one, but it's on a completed loco, however I want to do a project to make an HO Sierra #3, as the tyco version is more OO scale, so it's a bit bigger than it should be. If I decide to use a different boiler or boiler front though, I'll throw it on ebay for almost nothing and it's yours. That may be a long time though..

In case you want to Google the part or otherwise look it up, the most common name for that part is "smoke box front". Mantua called the part "Boiler Front", part number 2947.

Thanks for the specific name. I'll try another Ebay search, and then on Google.
