AND I remember Framptom making his guitar sound like an electronic voice, "...do you feel like I do..." back in '79. Then, as now, I prefer the kazoo. The kazoo is highly under appreciated.

I think I accidentaly removed the one where I had my music here is what I listen to
sometimes I listen to queen not a huge fan of some of their songs https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL8Lpw39GxwbMzMIzJ7r_HXmhOT4ISXImG
Simon and Garfunkel is good I like most of their songs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yoY84cJoLe0
I love Tiny Tim's music mostly covers of older forgotten music that he brought back to life https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL9F777F07D69737A3
and the supermarket music quite popular on the internet https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLWzNufaAtqYSXXo3sGF57v4bcnU81VQ_C

S & G were, are wonderful. Simon’s later solo albums were nothing short of brilliant. Tiny Tim was considered comedic in my time, but supermarket music?? Are you having me on??
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=WH5WVmaZFNE
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=X1_CNl6w2Tk
Well, maybe the kazoo is a little over rated.

That is nothing compared to what I listen to on the gangster rap stations Jeff.
Kiddie music compared to the new rap songs.
I do not agree with their messages but there are some good beats.

Not my type of music but condolences to the family and friends of Eddie Van Halen. Passed away this morning from cancer. Formed the popular rock group Van Halen.
Songs about jumping to favorite teachers among many topics on YouTube.

Famous singer who had his private amusement park with two miniature railroads.
People have different opinions about this deceased singer but the video just shows one of his train rides. A three gauge route with a single track and two balloon turnaround track at each end. This video by someone shows most of the trip using one of the turnaround segments.

He never struck me as the railfan type. The engine's kept nice and clean, but I can't remember when I heard one with the timing so far off: chug, chug, chug ............chug

I read they were moved to a warehouse further south near Los Angeles.
That three foot gauge engine had reports of mechanical problems.
Probably was not maintained correctly. Too much water in the boiler they said.
Caused boiler problems. Someone commented that the engine did not sound right.
Some internet photos of the three foot gauge line.

Main train station at that sprawling ranch.

Three foot gauge engine built in 1973 by Crown Metals Products.

Named Katherine after his mother.

Another gorgeous view of the station.

View looks east with the track traveling a mile to one of the turnaround loops. Not my photos.

You should buy those trains Ben. You have money and a new spacious location.
You can rename the train The Nevermore Valley Scenic Railroad.

Sometimes when I'm workin' on the 'model' railroads, and need a little inspiration, I listen to the soundtracks from the Railroad Tycoon 3 computer game. Very inspiring. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xUsWPtMhqLw&list=PLjdy4KpzCrajVi0OLDwcXEw_IGEIjSd6b

Good instrumentals 👌👌
Also RP, that and sid meiers are pure nostalgia fuel. I'd play them every day on my dads laptop. I still play SMR from time to time.

Great stuff! Nice rhythm with the spoons on RP’s first track. I like to listen to books on tape, Librevox has 50,000 titles for free. Right now listening to an Agatha Christie novel.

Found this group by accident. I love Zydeco, and these guys came into view as "New Orleans Jazz." Typically, I have no ear for jazz, except maybe a little Fats Waller, this stuff is amazing. It will turning up in some videos.

I'm still doing a lot of old Carpenters tunes and some Gaither Vocal Band older recordings. I have 2 pairs of these Bose 901s in my lifetime and they just make music everything that it really is. It's almost like every time I play them it's like the first time I've ever heard them... I'm not sure how these speakers do what they do.

The Carpenters are highly underrated, today. Karen was a brilliant drummer, and if you stop and listen to her voice, you will hear it is pitch perfect. She was legendary for walking into a recording studio and looking over a piece, do one take, and that was all that was required. Her partnership with her talented brother was amazing. He wrote most of her hits. He brought her out from the drums to center stage where she blew audiences away. May the lovely Karen rest in peace. She was taken from us way too soon.
Here's some buck dancing. Seriously, when I see and hear stuff like this it strengthens my faith. It strengthens my faith because such spontaneity and rhythm could never be possibly achieved by Natural Selection. Not that I want to open that debate, but rather say this folk music just ignites me. I want to change my nationality to Appalachian and learn buck dancing.

Interesting video with a live performance by 1960s singer Jackie DeShannon.
A young Barry White without his trademark beard and with shorter hair.
Barry White's voice also appears but he is not seen.

Chops- given your taste for music may I suggest Hayseed Dixie? They go back to 2000 and have a great "Rock-grass" sound, and if you know the original song they cover, all the better.
And if you are unaware of Space Age Bachelor Pad Music follow here and enjoy

Best of late 50s and early 60s pop standards often with a very pronounced lounge vibe. The music our Grandparents would have listened to!
