I like Sharks, the RF-16 kind. I see the resource page shows a PPR diecast shark with closed steps. I saw one diecast recently with open steps. Does this help date the Shark. I know that it says Mantua on the inside of the shell. It also had loop&hook couplers and no light. Custon paint and no markings. Any help would be great. Thanks

I guess I'll answer my own question. Thanks to HOseeker I saw a copy of an exploded drawing for a Shark kit, A-unit #215 and it looks like from 5/53. This drawing could have open steps and has no light. I don't know how long they produced that kit. The one I saw has the powertruck installed backwards, in the front.
