My COTW this week will be my newest piece of rolling stock, my TYCO 50th Anniversary boxcar.

I like mine, but mine at least has a real problem with either it jumping the track or it dragging other cars off the tracks.

Yes, Jeff... This SOO LINE is a Tyco piece. Tyco offered the same piece in a Union Pacific décor.

New day, new Tyco. Thanks for the info, Walt. I am pleasantly surprised.
Below is an Ambulance Car by Triang. RAMC stands for "Royal Army Medical Corp," thus British, but it lacks buffers. So, I will need to scrounge some up. A delightful piece, it well compliments my medical collection. $9, plus like $15 shipping.

Tyco did the Soo and UP in that tooling. After their demise, IHC bought the tooling and did at least 2 UP in a lighter gold and an Ann Arbor. Possibly others.

And just found another after a quick search:

Not sure how old it is but I have a good guess!
I have a friend looking for one, so if anyone has a spare...

We did. But it came through an extension cord into the neighbors house!
Has Ma Fog's boxcar been on the rails lately? You don't want that one to get too dusty!

Alas, El Grande, it has not seen the rails in a few weeks now. I have peeled back the cover on my British OO and have been doing that. I will likely get back to Armadilloville later this season. I had expanded Armadilloville by 4x4 feet, but for some peculiar reason it doesn't quite satisfy as well as the previous 4x8- perhaps I have this sense that it is running me rather than the other way around. I might just lop off the 4x4 and return it to its original size.
