I recently bought this assembled Tyco Signal Tower for a grand total of $10.55, shipped! It has now been added to RETRO TYCO II.

Classic Tyco, love it.

Always liked the Plasticville line. Fits right in with Tyco and doesn't require a machine shop to assemble.

My BotW is a Walthers Fire Department HQ. I paid ~$10 for it in a sloppily assembled state. After fixing what I could and a few coats of paint, it's now a small city bus depot.

Hey how about that, I have all three featured buildings this week. Great re-purpose and fix up of the fire station.

It's one of the biggest buildings I have. Lots of possibilities for it. Have you built your fire station yet?

My BOTW is this Bachmann home. One of only a few Bachmann pieces that I have.

| Cool house Walt! If you collected a few of them you could build a little mid-century neighbourhood on the layout. That's probably the only time several of the same kit wouldn't look odd sitting side-by-side.

That Bachman home is an older “contemporary” kit. My home collection now are these placed in a 12-1/2 square foot area. The Atlas modern home is not in the photo. I also have a Model Power Farm House that is not in this pic, that will be on the farm section of the layout... I want to arrange the homes and put little streets winding thru the area...

That fire station looks great! I love that you took the time to add some interior details. Mine didn't come with those interior brick walls, but they add a nice touch.

Thanks, The interior walls are just painted brick sheets. probably a waste of time now that's its on the layout.
The more visible improvement I made was the gravel covered roof. I made it more difficult for myself by creating it as a lift out so I could add lighting later. I still had to make repairs when I did go back and light it up.
