Found these on the Lionel website! https://www.lionelstore.com/search?keywords=HO&custitem_gauge=HO-Gauge
They're all available for pre-order currently. Some familiar Model Power products can also be found here (of course, it comes from Lionel recently acquiring the Model Power catalog.) I'm especially interested in that BNSF container flatcar and some of the Christmas rolling stock once they come out!

I'm looking forward to those armed services recruitment cars - they are based on real cars that ran here in the 1940s.

Some really nice stuff they offer! Thankfully though, I may be the only one to say that I am very satisfied with the train cars I have now. If I never buy another piece of rolling stock, I'm still happy... I will continue to get ground cover and detail items...

They will most likely just make the model power products and few mantua products offered before they went bust.

Just received my first Lionel HO car based on the old Model Power Harriman cars. It's painted as an Army hospital car. Nicely done, with metal wheels and metal coupler. Picked it up for $19.95 at a well known discount store.

Nifty piece. Checked out there website, yeesh, those prices are a bit toasty for this old Tyco Head. Looks like you did find a deal.

This turned up in my feed. I have long been griping about manufacturers moving production off shore, but this story definitely gives me the "other side of the coin." It is a bit humbling to see what it takes to go from a concept to a product. The amount of skilled labor involved is enormous.
Too, I am compelled to respect the exceptional degree of skill and patience required to put this stuff together. I could not imagine painting handrails all day, or worse, using tweezers to apply individual HO scale builder plates.

So I had a Lionel HO 2-8-2 on pre-order. The vendor recently cancelled my order saying the supplier has discontinued the item.
Yes I know they were pricey, but I wanted to see how they compared to previous iterations. Has anyone else heard they were discontinued?

Another member posted under another thread a little while ago that Lionel discontinued all of its HO line, this year, (I believe.)
