Going to do a re-run here. This is the drive mechanism of the Tyco Airport.
I was utterly baffled as to how it worked, but some TFers came to my rescue
and pointed out that this base plate is a dynamometer. Drive a Tyco
vehicle against the buffer and the wheels of the vehicle transmit torque to
the gear assembly which rotates the airplane.



With a busy fall schedule, it has been ages since the dust cover has been off
Armodilloville and I've made no progress to get this wired up.
