Hey all, I've had a few things on my list to get. This is just the stuff that has been impossible for me to find or find for the price I'm willing to pay (Knock on wood)

1. Lafayette
Yes, there are countless auctions and listings for this one. None at the right price though. If anyone has just the Loco and Cars, or just the Loco (With tender, obviously) I'd be willing to buy it on eBay for $20 - $30
Complete set? I'll pay around $50 - $60 including shipping.

2. Either a Penn Line D-2 Midget Whitcomb Switcher, or a Walthers ML-8.
Oooh yes, this is a bit of a tricky one. I know Mustangsntrains has some Midgets, I'd be willing to buy one for around $20

And if anyone has an ML-8 I'd be willing to pay up to $60 for that little guy. He sure looks cool.

Thanks for taking this into consideration! I appreciate it. Leave a comment or PM me with details on it if you have one, and we'll discuss it. Thanks!

Apologies, nor do I!

I will say, some years ago I had the Bachmann LaFayette set.
Like many Bachman products, it had great injection molding,
and a truly garbage motor. The motor failed after a few
cumulative hours of operation.

The Bachmann John Bull is a little better, with a bigger motor
in the tender that pushes a dummy locomotive.

I have the John bull, and yes, I love that thing to pieces. It of course, runs better in reverse than forwards. I'd like to get another so I could get the cab and funnel extensions on Shapeways, and recreate the 1870's look!
