Cool video, I'd heard about BM&LD, but not seen any video of it. The capacity of that train appears insanely enormous. Did they leave any coal in the ground once all was said and done?

Everything I've seen appears to say that the coal power plant was shut down because of competition from natural gas power plants. Presently, at least, natural gas prices are relatively low.
That would imply that the mine was probably not played out. It just lost its only customer. Carpe Manana!
