OMG, I love that- flamingo pink on white, so fifties. Got the lamps going on and those oh-so-70's bucket chairs. What a great addition to the expressway.

Thank You, Chops. I have a lot of detailing to do in that area, parking stripes, lights, etc. I had the same building in the 70s, the doors and chairs were red in that kit. Note the old Coke machine at the end of the office …

I am seeing a bunch on eBay in the $20 range, with shipping. Did you custom paint the pink trim, or does it come that way?
Siesta Inn - Armadilloville, it has to be.

| Chops, I've seen the motel kits come in several different colors. I did paint the flamingo pick on the chairs, windows and doors...

Mark Twain said that "plagiarism is the most sincere form of flattery." Had to have it, at 12 clams. I will probably need to go back and repaint the trim that Flamingo Pink, that or Penn Central Green...
While it doesn't have all the chairs, it does have a card board bush!

BTW, how is the farmscape coming along?

I had this motel on my 70s layout. I just had to replace it because I thought it was sooo cool when I was a kid. Now that I'm a older kid, I still love it! Rounding up farm equipment from my few boxes I still have things stored in... Not much progress yet....

I've seen Astro Turf for wheat like structures. I really want to see Walt's Farm someday. It'll be a fine memorial piece for your better half, may she rest in piece.

Lets see a pic of it again, Microbusss It's just that I'm kind of weird and have this image in my mind from 1999 of what I want on my train table. I love the Matchbox pieces but if you notice I have none on my layout. However, the farm area does have some odd ball piece that she bought that I will use...
