Perfectly operating accessories, to boot. I am still in awe how
effortlessly that figure 8 works, I really didn't think it would
work very well.

LOL...well thanks! I still am having some contact issues with certain tracks on the figure-8....which might be due to bad track connectors (I cleaned all the track well with rubbing alcohol.)

I have noticed some of your photos have track that has separated a bit. I use pliers to squeeze track connectors together. But all of my track is newer with the new connectors but still have the issue a little...

Someday, I really hope you can take either EVRR or Retro II
out to a train show, you know. The EVRR demonstrates
how beautifully a micro layout can be, and the Retro II
will be very evocative to a lot of guys, especially those
high end rivet counters who started out in Tyco. Either
of those layouts will bring a lot of smiles.

Walt: Yeah...I think that's because the nails I used to secure the track down were too short. Hence, the more trains run over the tracks, the track starts to come up and separate. I will fix that problem by converting all nails to one particular "brass" type that I used to affix the operating accessories down (like the Log Dump Set.) That should resolve that "track jumping" issue. And, I will in the future, replace all of the connectors with NOS brass track connectors.

Chops: I wish....the EVRR is at least possible to move, but RETRO TYCO II, being a 5' x 8' is most likely never moving out of the basement in 1 piece.
