Love those spring trees.
I'm late to the party, going to double dip:
Item #1:
A Partridge Family School Bus, a gift from the Busss. Back in
the grand old '70's this was prime time on the B&W that
got three crummy channels off the rabbit ears. It came on,
I think, Friday or Saturday night, and man I was there amazed
at the adventures of the troubadours.
My problem is that I still can't bring myself to crack the seal on this
piece, but I will, when the rest of the Armadilloville extension is
brought up to speed. Lately, on my days off I've been mostly
into OO.
Item #2
A gift from another bud, who knows my Yankee roots and my love for the
dear, departed B&M railroad. I never forgave the successor owners,
Guilford, for lousing up one of the most beautiful paint schemes with that
horrid big "G." Only moderately worse than the successor of Guilford,
who actually bought the rights to Pan American Airlines and started
plastering that over everything. Did they not have the imagination
to come up with their own name??
