Dust is a real issue in El Paso, particular when the wind blows, which is often.

Long overdue, I got this particular idea from a British forum for the OO "Henley."
I was using a painter's drop cloth before which had a tendency to knock scenery over
and tangle.

HO "Armodilloville" finally got a proper dust cover. Now I'll get around to running it.

Using painter's drop cloth to cover shelving. Not idea, but better than nothing. Maybe
cheap curtains on a rod would be better.

Good deal, Chops! I hung mine from the ceiling using PVC plumbing as a frame. It lowers or raises in less than a minute...😊

That's a better idea. What do you use for pulleys?

I mounted hooks on the floor joists that hold the PVC pipe frame. Small dark strings from the joist to the PVC cut to hold the frame about 10 inches up off the table... with sides of the drop cloth that drape a foot. Simply walk around the table and lift the PVC off of the hooks and let it down. To put it up just hang the PVC on the hooks and stuff the drop cloth sides on top. Takes about a minute up or down...

Huh, no pulleys, just a rigid drop cloth?
