Yes, that was me.....I'm sorry - had I known you were interested in it, I would've passed. Apparently I'm a "rotten sniper" now.

Fairly won! It is a beautiful set and will be right at home on Retro Tyco! I actually didn't expect to win it, typically those NH pieces fetch a pretty penny, I was just trolling to see if it would get overlooked.
Even at $51, I think you got an excellent deal.

Yeah, $51 was a good price, considering that most Tyco GG1's go for anywhere between $20-$40....and the New Haven variant is becoming harder and harder to find.
The "Rotten Sniper - Wheeler & Dealer - Shark Master" prevails.

I grew up in TH&B country. First train I remember seeing was a TH&B dog train in Copetown, Ontario, probably about 1964ish. Killer piece, Mike.

Sorry for the bump, but the TH&B boxcar was a Mantua piece (metal underframe, trucks and door sliders) - unless of course Tyco actually did make one with their name on it. I have the same one but as the original wheels used to attract hairs and lock up I replaced the trucks with Athearn ones (the car has a pair of #5s on the ends like all of my stock).
