I see this video where this Tyco 630 is comfortably pulling 24 or 25 cars... Please let me know where I can purchase a Tyco 630 that will do this! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6CpIazLxjMI&list=WL&index=5&t=0s

Impressive performance. I am surprised the little pinion gear, so prone to cracking and slipping, can take the pressure.

That's what the clip claims but I'd like to buy an engine with that set up...

I can definitely confirm that someone not only added another PT motor to that C630, but also probably replaced the pancake motor & magnets with more powerful ones....in order to get that seamless performance.....

I agree, RP... Although I just pulled 18 hoppers and a caboose with a Bachmann F7 with nothing done to it other than a 9 volt battery on top of its rear wheels for weight...

Thanks! I secured the pinion on with Superglue Gel. Here's another one I did, a C-430 that spent many hours entertaining fans on the Manheim Historical Society's, Stiegel Valley Model Railroad last summer. She's climbing an approximate 4% grade without breaking a sweat. This year, I'll see if she can do more. She out-pulled every blue box Athearn at the museum, including an SD45.

WHOA! Superglue will solve PT pinion gear issues!?!?!?! I didn't know that.
Could you please explain your procedure using Superglue Gel? - as I have a Chattanooga Steamer and a Comin' Round the Mountain SD24 that both could ride the rails again...if only their pinion gears were secure for life.

Wow, it runs like a Swiss Watch. I've gobbed on super glue to various projects with nothing approaching that level of success.

I know they make a CA superglue that is supposed to bond to plastic. I have had one really good one. The last tube I bought did not bond well on plastic...

Impressive work, RDC1... Love the Tyco 630 you done. What does it cost to build an engine with the strong magnets , etc...?

I've got a pair of Tyco NYC Sharks that run as a powered pair, both of which are modified with dash magnets. The pinions are glued as well, and they'll pull the butt out of an elephant. I'm part of a group of guys that get-r-done!
