That Alco looked like it had no trouble at all pulling that All Tyco Consist. You may have one of the very few Tyco coal plants that that actually works- those rubber belts did not hold up well over time. Always great to see this vintage dispaly in operation. Hope you get a chance to take it to an exhibit sometime; that can be surprisingly enjoyable sharing in people's memories, particularly since so many guys got their start in Tyco.

Yes, my Santa Fe C630 runs very well, and has newer traction tires too...which definitely has perfected its performance. In contrast, my one ICG C630 runs very slowly and squeaks a lot...even though it is lubed well and has newer traction tires. But that's the best thing about Tyco....its old, and often needs TLC to run well.
