1959, no less. What an explosion of variety! This will be an enjoyable
template to recreate some of those sets. Out of curiousity, the value
of $14 in 1959 comes out to $121!! $47 over $400!!

Not all the pics came through here but this is the HO line from Lionel's 1959 catalog

Also of note Lionel was supposed to issue the crossing gate made by Athearn it is pictured in the catalog Don't think it ever was seen in a Lionel box

And as I stated I have never seen Lionel do this other then the Liberty Magazine of 1946
