My LOTW is this Primex (Märklin) Berlin 1920s Subway Car (S-Bahn). The first unit is motorized. It is all tin and a throwback to the tin trains that Märklin made in the 1950s, even though this model was produced in 1989. The only thing that distracts from the retro feel is the LEDs for headlights. It would have been nicer I think if Märklin had used regular bulbs.

The unit has some corrosion damage to the front. I'm in the process of cleaning that up. The motor runs but the FRU (reversing unit) is also corroded, so I will be swapping that out as well.

Going to follow your thread with this, Redwoods. I've always like DMU's, from
Budds to European counterparts. This is a Lima set, braking to a halt as Nessie
is blocking the tracks. A little DMU video follows:

Here's my LOTW Offering:

HERSHEY's GP40 #2006, by Bachmann. This locomotive was obtained in a purchase from Chops back in December of last year, and just this month, the locomotive will be officially added to the Ephrata Valley RR roster.
