This pair of trams, sold under the "Strap Hanger" label, are connected by a permanent draw bar that allows power pick up from both front and rear coaches. An MU 2 motor powers the pair. No effort was made to attach trolley poles, so they are true trams. The set came with four sections of street rail track- standard code 100 molded into a gray plastic base. Finding additional straights was well nigh impossible, and when they finally did turn up on eBay, the price was exorbinant, so it was easy enough to fashion additional straights using balsa and some nine inch straights. The best improvement, however, turned out to be using a decent power pack, as opposed to the original Tyco unit. Now instead of cruising at 75 MPH down the city street, they roll reliably and slowly.

Nice Chops! Also, those hand-crafted straights are well done....I personally never even noticed.
