I stumbled across an interesting Ebay buy-it-now or best-offer listing last evening....for 2 unnamed Baltimore & Ohio RR F7/F9 shells (one an A unit with a metal chassis inside of it, and another a B-unit, perfectly intact.) Upon closer inspection, it quickly became apparent that rather than no-names, these were "RED BOX ERA" TYCO/MANUTA B&O F9 SHELLS!!!!!!!!! I couldn't believe that one shell was the Rare B&O B-unit, and that it was complete.

I submitted an offer this morning, the seller accepted, and I ended up getting both shells for a little over $12.00, shipped Priority Mail. I'm so excited to receive these, and make the B-unit into a full Tyco dummy! (I now will have a Baltimore and Ohio B-unit to trail behind my vintage Tyco F9A, which I obtained last year.)

I'm confident that soon, a Tyco B&O F9 A&B set will be operating on the Ephrata Valley Railroad, only in a matter of time.
