From set-up to public display:
Can you add video files the same way?
Ah, actually - no, you can't.

Now that looks like fun! I especially like the subway running on the elevated line.

I have seen that subway before, and now, as then, it bringeth on a rending of mine garments and a gnashing of teeth. Lovely set up, and as I timidly enter the waters of Tyco USA 1, myself, I am repeatedly astonished at how durable these critters are. None the less, I'd swap the whole git-go for two of those subways- which are phenomenally pricey.

Yeppers, he poted them alrighty!
I'll pote sum of myn in a dinky sirkul when I git roundtoit.
Oh, an anuther t'ing:
"Can you add video files the same way?
Ah, actually - no, you can't."
As that query, Google shut down their Video Editor, but necessity being the mother of invention, I now use Vimeo, which, after a little trial and error, is better than, and easier to use by far, than the old Google.
I then export the Vimeo to Google at the click of a button and it then can be easily copy and pasted to the Tyco Forum. Believe me when I say I am not computer expert. I am still trying to program my VCR, but have mastered threading a Super 8 film into the projector, and I can even assemble the screen.
I, among others to be sure, would love to see that spectacular creation in motion.
Oh, I'm allowed to talk like that, being from Texas. The King's English, nor Elizabethan English, is not oft heard in yon parts. I don't know where I get this stuff, seriously, I quit reading Shakespeare after the second page. Must be a past life thing.

Not got it right yet but maybe you can click on this link and see the video?
I joined Vimeo using email but it looks like I should have chosen Facebook or Google?
If I click on SHARE it looks like I can only email the video to people.

Top Down,
This is a nifty two layer layout of trains and cars. You can tell from the photos that the kids loved it. Thanks for sharing.

I think I'm getting worse at this but here is the view from the 'operators' end of the table.
There are two more to add, when I can steel myself to do it, as it seems different each time I try to post something!

I think Doug is being a little too generous here. Yes the plan may have been mine, but he was comunicating with me throughout the development stage, discussing options He then helped assemble and test it all and made some further very helpful suggestions. He also showed me the benefit of giving the trucks a full strip down, even removing the weight/pivot a all sorts of horrors can lie hidden there and clearing that area of muck is the secret of great runnning instead of just running OK or badly.
Finally Doug provided an awesome display of all the known US-1 vehicles, thier variations and all Tyco and TCR vehicles linked to US-1. I have to confess that as a rail and roadway man, to not knowing the difference between a curve hugger and a tree hugger or between a 440 and a 4-4-0, but Doug most certainly does!
Really apreciate all your help, support, ideas and sheer enthusiasm......

The static display

and a longer look at the working layout.

Don't know Vimeo too well. Got actual videos showing on another site, rather than links - but I guess that was just luck as I couldn't repeat it here. The links work though.
