I think this can reasonably be called a set. Here is a pair of Athearn RDCs, an RDC1 and RDC2 to be exact. These are the old metal body units with vertically mounted motors. I received these and several others from TopTrain.

Those are early Athearn units. Nice score. They also produced an RDC4. That one is fairly hard to find and typically sells fro ~$40 if you do find one. The RDC-4 contained a 30-foot RPO section followed by a 31-foot baggage-express section, with a toilet in the end of each section. It contained no passenger seating. Unlike the other models the RDC-4 was not air-conditioned.

The lot I purchased from Frank included all four body styles. Cosmetically they're a little on the rough side, but good candidates for restoration. I'm hoping to pair them up and have a few nice running sets.

Interesting info on the real thing as well! I remember reading the RDC-4s were a little shorter than the other body styles.
