After the gracious response for HO donations to Joel H, Brian of Bethesda sent another
mother lode of wonderful Tyco and Bachmann pieces out. As Joel's buddy was in a
similar boat, Brian graciously indicated we could split the wealth with Hector D, and
last night we did. Hector is most grateful for this and immediately began running it
behind a double header- consisting of an 0-6-0 and a SW1500. High marks for
creativity! Thank you everyone, Brian, WKS, RP Model Railroads, and Ciscos2
for your support of the next generation of modelers, and we hope, future Tycoheads.

The great thing about this forum is not only the sharing of information and ideas, but coming together to help one another out and in this case, introduce the younger generation to our hobby. All I did was send some extra cars. Chops, on the other hand, saw a unique opportunity and enlisted the forum members for assistance. So, MANY THANKS to Chops and everyone who sent him surplus cars!!!

I agree 100%!! I was honored to assist, and express my deepest gratitude to Chops for extending this opportunity. Also, awesome generosity and a job well done, fellow contributors.

Sure, there is a third guy who comes about fairly regularly.
His Dad is a retired deputy sheriff.

It was a pleasure to help. Hopefully in the future, I'll be able to do it again.
Cheers

This is turning out to be an effective means of drawing young people into
Model Railroading. Another young fellow slapped down his membership
fee and partook in the bounty sent by TF's "The Siding." Even Mike's
Dad was in shock and awe...present is Joel H to the left, straining at the
gate to give Mike first dibs, and Mike, our newest addition to the Club.
Thanks, Siding, inch by inch we are building model rail's future.

Off camera is Mike's Dad, who can't take his eyes off HO scale figures
and pine trees, while Chops is behind the camera having convulsions at
having to freely depart with this box of cool stuff of Tyco and more.

Nice to see the stuff is going to a good home. REALLY made my morning

And I meant to put in more trestle sets but could only fit so much Can send those trwo next week as I try TO GET ORGANIZED

Remember those pics of the Lionel Collection O gauge collection I posted? I have 1/10th of that and NO idea of what the Hell I have Looks like the last scene of Citizen Kane stuff all over'

The figures were three separate packs so that made it easy since you got threre musketeers there

Again check e bay seller avinathan for my stuff for sale

And you tube arielfilmsinc for Model Railroad vids AND hopefully more

Finally a thought for all here The hobby of Model Railroading is basically been simplified into "old farts" who do this

Just recently hit the half century mark myself I too wonder about the future so when selling or buying stuff and see children involved try to step out of the way or give them a good deal for we want PLEASNT expriences for these kids so they will continue on

Maybe another time could star t THAT as a topic AND FINAL STATENT While at show a kid assumingly 10 years old wanted to buy some n scale buildings His mother claimed "I'm not working can not spend the money" The dealer was firm on his price

After they left told him "You should have cut the price we want people to buy this stuff twenty years from now"

Hope your trio enjoys the stuff

Like the Mrs. Walmart quote: it's not what you reap, but what you sew.
Blessed are those that give.
