I'm looking for these cars. They are bakelite, not plastic and were made from 1948 thru around 1960. Available in a couple of color schemes from what I understand including the Hiawatha scheme as shown. Looking to buy or trade. I have a ton of Gilbert HO to trade.

Condition of finish isn't important, and will even consider damaged ones. Thanks.

Bakelite? Didn't early phonograph disks use Bakelite? More fragile
than crystal I recall. I can truely see the unique beauty of these
pieces.

Chops I believe it was bakelite on the really early records. They were pretty thick if i remember correctly...

And yes, these are not going to be too easy to find but i know I'll come up with something...
