I'd be honored to sponsor a fellow young person in model railroading! By "overage," does that mean cars too? I have a few in excellent shape that I'd be willing to sell, trade, or donate to Joel's collection.

I will, Shark Master! Overage is anything that you have to
spare that is no longer of exceeding value to your collection.
He is a regular attending member of the Model Train Club.
Oh, and I waited the better part of the year after this photo
was taken to see if he would continue showing up or if he
was just passing through. He keeps showing up every

I sent a box for Joel H. today. We do need to encourage the younger generation, especially those that show a real interest. Much of what I sent relates to the Santa Fe line since my grandfather worked for the Santa Fe all of his adult life so I've very fond of that line. I'm just sorry that we didn't keep the pocket calendars that we got from him for many years.
I hope the young man enjoys these and also that others will contribute.
Also thanks to Chops124 and the El Paso club for what they have done.

Well, Cicsos, Shark Master, and WKS, you made the little guy's dreams come true. He was thrilled, I could
barely get any photos of him he was so jazzed up. Awesome pieces, to the future of model railroading.
I think he might have the bug so bad that he might just pursue a rail career.
