My accessory of this week is my new decals for kit-bashing the Golden Spike locomotives. I'll be using a Rivarossi 4-4-0 Genoa and Reno for these locos.

Thanks. After looking at the color photos of the locos, I'm gonna have a real fun time painting the tenders right.

Memorable, OT, this will be great. Off the beaten path, as usual, the Sutton Hoo Excavation project is coming along. Now need construction worker types with shovels, but have proceeded thus far. British history is astonishing for its vast layers.

My AOTW is a Lionel billboard, still small enough to use for HO mostly,. Not so much the street sign. Did some AMC car prints to put in the billboard, wish I had a color printer. Oh well.

My AOTW is a lot of lights I won on Ebay. I wanted this lot for the 2 Tyco Fluorescent packs. Got several other light ups too. I have 86 tyco Fluorescent poles on my layout and 45 working extras...

If the billboard matches one of the normal photo print sizes, you could probably get a regular print made off of the picture at the drug store at a pretty low price.

I picked up this American Flyer pike master transformer to round out the A-F 30710 set that I had posted about a month ago.

Bought this off eBay to use on my new layout...
In 1979, when Bachmann started making landscaping products as part of their model train line (obviously so they could compete with AHM and Life-Like's similar products) they also came out with the "Scenic Classics" line, which included a Plasticville building kit or similar accessories and some landscaping (to be set on a small square grass mat). It was a pretty neat concept, especially for young model railroaders who were starting out in wanting to do landscaping.
The back side of the box; same as on the boxes for their action accessories of the time. Believe it or not, Bachmann still sells some of their operating accessories in the older late 70s box style from time to time, just with the product number updated. (At the hobby shop I often go to, I've seen the Wayside Steam Whistle Warehouse sold in the original 1980 packaging style, complete with the back showing some of those long-discontinued products. Talk about a throwback!)
