Hi Guys:
OK, lets "turn & burn!"
This week I'm posting a neat little HO scale Lionel Centercab switcher. It uses the Lionel "Husky" variation of the Athearn Hustler Chassis. It came in only one paint scheme Erie #0545.

So what have you fella's got to whistle out of the Roundhouse this week!!?? [:D]

I have two pieces of Marklin motive power. They run on three rail, 30 VAC. This particular one, an HR800 4-6-2 was part of a box lot destined for a dumpster had I not been in the right place at the right time. It was made around 1947-49 and is highly prized in the Marklin crowd. It came with a variety of tinplate and diecast freight and passenger cars and a pile of track. Wrapped in newspaper dating from 1956, it fired up once I found a 110/220 converter to run the power pack. The two headlights are originals and still light 55+ years later...bet a BLI won't do that. It now runs at Christmas every year with four tinplate passenger cars, a 346/3 and 3 346/1s. The outstanding feature of the 346/3 car is its interesting markings reflecting its immediate postwar/pre-Nazi ban paint scheme.

Very Cool:
I'm not a Steam Fan, but it's a monster I can tell is hiding in me somewhere. I particularly like Euro Steam. As to Marklin this model of a Prussian P8 made in 1967 is a favorite primarily because of the tender:

Thanks for your contribution...

Like my engine last week, this is another President's Choice (Mehano) steam locomotive.
This is a 0-8-0 sub-class P-5-d switcher locomotive aka a Yard Bull. Dressed in CN paint. It was included in the 2002 President's Choice train set. It is geared low, allowing it to operate superbly at low speeds.

Well with the week almost up, no sign of Tony, or Todd and others. Just one of those weeks.
Well maybe the week of the 24th-30th will be better...
Still some time to post a Loco for this week.

Once I learn to use my computer more efficiently I will post some locos. The size of my photos are too big for uploading and I can't shrink them yet.

Hey AF:
Maybe you could use photos of your stuff oither people have taken. For example if you buy something off EvilBay you can use the auction photo/s!?
Just a thought, I've done it.

Here you go Gareth. Early "Tyco" Engine. Has the Large Motor With Gear Box Drive. You can see the motor in the Cab windows. The Life Magazine Logo dates it.
