Got buried in Tyco for a while, now pulling my attention to the British OO layout, Bamberg. While helping Jimmy revise and consolidate his layout, I realized that where I was getting stuck was making the "fiddle", switching yard, much more busy than it needed to be. So I took out three turn outs, and am more pleased with this condensed version that isn't so crammed and jammed. Keep It Super Simple- the multiple diamonds already make it plenty interesting to run. This is the before shot, crammed.
This is the "after" shot, reduced to one Hornby curved turn out, two spurs: a simple stub and the engine shed. Easier on the eyes, easier to operate. The wagons piled up next to it will be stored in a drawer below the layout when not in use.

* Good luck with your British railroad. Here on the PGW we've had a few problems with those dark ale drinkers. Yep, they held a British Railway Convention in Bergen Point last year and the town hasn't stopped talking about it yet. Catford Ken and his railway club came into town. On a Friday a pair of 0-6-0t's came out of the backwoods and were placed on a ready track at the Frankford roundhouse. They went into Franks Pub for a few ale's. Yep! That's how it started.

We awoke Saturday morning to find this.
Saturday Morning seen!

Our main line became a club parking lot.
It didn't stop. They just kept coming, and commmmming.

They just parked their trains and went to any pub or bar or restaurant. Really anyplace where they could get in.
On Monday morning it ended. Little by little everyone went home.

I think the Britannia was Ken ride that day.
The End!!!!

I think that is Kenny holding up the mug of ale. He a party animal. Erich is here too. He drove a class 50 decapod here. He had to ruff it with Porter once the Austrian Ale ran out. He is a very adaptable person. frank

Are you sure that's not a time traveler from the 12th century? There's a TARDIS on the corner.
