I spent all my money on wine, women, and Tyco. The rest I wasted. In addition to my Tyco obsession, I also model British OO, which has been languishing of late. My sister sent me this Electroen piece for it. If I am not very, very careful I will end up collecting Electroen. This stuff is crazy cool.
Can anyone toss my an Electroen link or two? I can't find any reliable sites to this Iberian marvel.

It's Electrotren Jeff. I dig their cars as well. I had one of their passenger coaches for a while. Here's a link . . . https://www.hornby.com/us-en/shop/brands/electrotren-h0-1-87.html

Those barrel cars are pretty cool. I have a couple of them. They are the only trains my wife allows me to display on/at our home bar area. They are on a shelf with her shot glasses and such.

Two mysteries revealed: 1. I was spelling it wrong in my web searches, and 2. I had no idea that it has been part of Hornby since 2004.
I actually did go to Spain, briefly, when I was probably about 6 or 7 years of age. Mostly remember the cobble stone streets and incomprehensible language.

My COTW is this Penn Line combine:
I had been working on another combine car, but this one is closer to what I was looking for. When I got it, it was in sort of rough shape. The couplers were glued solid into the pockets with rubber cement and then broken off. One wheelset was missing. The paint job was thick and runny and covered with some sort of varnish. There was no window glazing and the end doors were just open holes.
A few repairs, a repaint, some glazing and doors and lettering for my railroad's name gave me a way to haul passengers, mail, baggage and express in a one-car train. For example:
It'd probably also look good as the passenger accomodation in a mixed train.
