More hard choices this week, as I acquired some interesting items. This one is a Lima Auto rack, I have a thing for auto racks, and I don't often see the Euro style type often. I like this one, might run it behind my new French Jouef electric ( but that's another story for another week ).

I didn't know this till I was it at my last train show in Edison MJ. here is the black one which I probably posted already but forgot that I did. * So here it is, I hope for the first time. frank

My COTW offering this week is a Wabash flat car with a chained load... of what I believe to be a plastic version of the 4-2-0 Pufferbelly C&NW Pioneer HO Steam Locomotive:

Glad it arrived in one piece, one never knows these days. How's the weather in Scottsbluff? Nope, Harvey has not affected El Paso in any weather way. Worst we typically get is getting baked to death.
That Lima is a totally cool piece. Here's an video of my auto racks. Like all the slippery slope, it started out as just one, then two... Funny thing is I really don't like cars, largely because they wiped out rail and trolleys slick as spit. This is my anti-car video. It might bore more than offend, but neither is intended. Just me being nostalgic.

Following TopTrain's posts, I've become increasingly intrigued by Marx. So when I saw this perfect condition box car winking at me from a box under a table for $2 I knew exactly what it was and grabbed that little bird in the bush, along with a companion coal car.
I shall be looking forward to seeing the electric Joeuf hauling that car carrier. Vive La France!
Photographed at the El Paso Model Train Club, "Port Byron" is a memorial to the late "Doc" Byron, who was a veterinarian and inspirational model railroader.

Thanks for the movie, Chops. I never get tired of your choice of cars....and music. Your fellow club members seem like a tolerant sort. Or, do you have to sneak in at night, when no one's there? Evan
