These were assembled in 1978. The original owner put his name, date and city on the bottom of the cars. He was in Orient, NY.

That combine car on top is so typical of branch line and short line combine cars that there should still be one about that size and with its proportions on the market. I don't think there is, though. More's the pity. It would fit in with a wide variety of layouts and eras.

| That is a nice set George. I had that on my "watch list"; glad you're the one that got it. I'm still waiting to see some video of your layout with all the vintage buildings and equipment.

Well, Barry, am still trying to get everything finished so that I can get one done. Have a couple of buildings yet to do and then get the track finalized and laid. Will try to get it finished this month if lady luck will just stay with me.
