It almost looks like an MDC. body mounted couplers, archbar trucks. No markings on it though.
Is it MDC?

Train Miniature, part of their MofW set that came in SP, ATSF, and generic "MofW" flavors. The trucks also aren't arch-bar, they're a variant of Bettendorf called the "T-section".
sim-al2 Also since they cut track maintaince the trains had huge trouble making over the railroad by the end 純那 yeah They did a Rock Island volountarily

And the original Tru-Scale kit was simply a one-piece plastic clone of a wood craftsman kit from Silver Streak (and originally Pacific HO, all the way back into the late 40s I believe)
