Be interesting to see a place where those hot metal cars were used; loud and hot.

Nice Hot Metal cars! And the Silver Streak Caboose... Special spot in my heart for that one.

Here's mine. $8 at a local antique market. Somehow I've managed to collect 4 different operating hoppers. How rare is this one?

They are heavy, but in a scene like this, you don't need a long string of them. I took this pic this past July 3rd at the Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh Pa. They have a 3-rail O scale layout they run. The scenery is great there, but I am not a fan of the track work or locomotives. They run the cheaper plastic smaller locomotives and the sidings lack switches and are usually cut rails that are not even neatly done. They often just end before connecting to the rails with varying length spaces. Just looks funky to me.

I have several of these cars now, maybe 15-20. Not sure as they are scattered in multiple boxes.

My car this week is my recently acquired Curtis candy billboard. Got it because of the colors
and it will go well with my sweet treats construct.
