Well, since I'm first off this week on COTW, I'll sweeten the post. A nice boxed Tyco Sugar hopper. My shop co-worker found them at a store for cheap recently. Couldn't pass up this great item.

I've not seen that Holly version- has opening hopper doors.
What in the world? Was it designed for some kind of
unloadable load?

It is Tyco, and like the open hoppers there was a track insert (I will look for it) to open the doors. The top lifted off the closed hoppers.

Be darned. I wonder what was used as a load? One of my favorite cars,
the Domino Box. Had no idea it was ex-Marx.
