Wonder how long these ones where you pulled out the bottle were used. Think I can remember encountering one as late as 1980s.

These are pretty neat-o. My idea of a Sunday afternoon was
biking down to the one place that had these- they were up to
a quarter, I think. Ice cold on a hot day. Drink to fast and the top
of one's head would explode. Life was good.

Nice Soda Machines, I could use a few. My accessory this week started out as a fancy chopstick holder. I made a it a sign for my pink motel.

SWF. I believe you are correct on dating the pop machines. My layout is of the 70s to 80s era. Same seller has modern ones also.
Yes chops, those days were good!
I like the color of that stacked motel !

Gary, I have memories of driving past a motel on US30 in eastern Iowa with a huge flamingo statue in front of it. There's a prototype for everything.

The seller I bought from sell 4 for $7.00 or 10 for $12.50. $3.00 shipping on either. I will buy at least 10 moar. I figure 2 or 3 at the gas stations.

Dukes of Hazzard on Tycomania VII. At one time I had live slots on the same table as the Tyco, but
the quality of this miniature automobile was not so hot, and trying to keep them working became a
full time job, so they eventually ended up as a static display.

The Pink Flamingo is bomb.

Hehehe! My first car was a 1969 Dodge Coronet 500 with the famous 318 V-8. It was blue with black rocker panels. Also with a black vinyl roof and a stitched headliner from some perforated fabric, both of which had not decayed by 1983, and had been my parents before mine.
I kept threatening to repaint it orange but ended up spending the money on trains instead.
