Hey!

So I was looking on eBay, and they had a brand new searchlight car that obviously uses the old Tyco tooling.

Who got this? I know Bachmann, Life-like and Model Power/Walthers all have their own versions?

But it's not a Bachmann car...

This is Bachmann's car.

I just haven't seen a "new" version of this car in about 30 years.

Agreed, the Coca-Cola search light car is the Mantua/Tyco version, I wonder who produced it for Hawthorn Village? It would be interesting to see this car in person but at $76 I think I will pass.

Could be from one of the Hong Kong manufacturers. Be interesting to know what happened to the dies after Tyco went out of business.
