Gonna start this week off with a Tyco/Mantua MU-2 CN F7A. Needs a back coupler and a good cleaning, but it does run. Picked it up with a MP/Roco CN Shark, Canadiana C430, the Marx hopper in COTW and a Rivarossi old-time Combine.
It'll be a great compliment to my 3 CN passenger cars :D

Happy Canadian memories. Here a Bachmann F hard at work. That F with the coaches would make a great SOTW.

I do not own this engine, but I though it's existence was worth sharing.. This was a part of the Lew English collection that I purchased a large portion of. I did not get this piece as the seller was not willing to let it go (at my price). He has since sold it to "a collector up north" (of Montoursville PA) a couple years ago.
It was the Bowser Manufacturing factory display cut-away model for 2-8-0 Consolidation...

Thanks guys. This is a HO loco that I purchased a couple of years ago. The seller had it listed as an N scale loco, buy it now for $40. Seeing as how N scale brass old time locos are extremely hard (and expensive) I scarfed it up FAST. Got a surprise (Good one) when it arrived and I discovered it was an HO. Talk about luck....

My lotw is this Gilbert 426 B&O B unit from 1957. This is probably the scarcest of the B units, not counting it's 5 digit brother, the 31008 B&O from 1958.
The 426 is shown here with it's matching 421/422 A-A.

* Sean that 2-8-0 is different in ways from the standard 2-8-0 released by Bowser. That may be the 2-8-0 that started it all. The first PRR locomotive made by John English, but never released as you say. The HObbyline-English 2-8-0 that they developed and was ready to be produced. That is a locomotive that truly can to called rare for it may be the only one that exists. I have seen the drawings some where on line but this is the first time I have seen the locomotive. Bowser should have stayed with that motor for it fits inside the body with room enough for a boiler backhead and even a separate cab. It is one of those " TOO BAD IT HAPPENED THAT OTHER WAY." It would have been nice if John English could have kept going on in business. I would lover to have been running this type loco then the Bowser one. frank

Here is a cool little entry. A Toledo Piora & Western GP-35 with Alco Trucks. Some roads actually rebuilt their engines, even some Alcos into GP35s. This is an Athearn and it runs quite well. Stands out quite a bit.
