My biology teacher showed me a Boxed TYCO Santa Fe passenger set he bought. It had a ABA of F7's, and four passenger cars. He said he has never seen one with powered A units and a dummy B, but I figured it out. The 2nd A unit was bought seperately, there's a price on its box. He sent me home with the powered A units to get them running again.

My LOTW is a Dupont Tyco Plymouth Industrial Switcher. This was the last one I needed to have a complete set of all the variations.

Here is one that doesn't pop up very often.

This is a Proto 1000 RS-11 unit that I bought a few weeks back. doesn't seem as if they made too many of these and to find them in Espee colors are even harder. Sure the Atlas ones show up quite a bit (and I have 2) but this one sure is a gem. SCVR got one recently as well. Here it is with dcc hardwired in and new leds.
If you are not having fun, you are not doing it right.

Sean, I'll look forward to seeing that Stubby assembled. My LOTW, Intermountain SD40-2W in CP colours. Seen in passing, on my RIP track. Not a great fan of DCC & sound, but this one was sweet! Evan

That Lindsay is a treasure from the dawn of HO. Athearn Hustler is as close as I can get to the pioneer days. Rubber band drive, it runs rather well.
Hope you are able to fire up that fine Red Box Chevelle. Your Bio Teach sounds like a pretty cool guy. Is he on the Forum?
