Okay fella's sorta bear with me here as I am seeking advice as i am attempting to fix some things with this layout that i should have done right in the first place such a good and proper 2 cab dc electrical setup the layout is 7 and half foot wide at the very rear where ive gotta a tunnel laid out. There is room to add atl east a few inches maybe three in this area of the back of table as ive boxed my self in where the curves are too sharp and the double track is too close together. 2nd view is same.I gotta a lot problems in this area with electricapickupl here didnt do a good job putting in feeders and iam gonna lengthen the curve a bit with more space from the wall and more clearence betweeen the tracks. what the standard for clearance betwwen the tracks? two? two and a half inches?this is where the tracki goes into the tunnel the tunnels coming down so i can put a cole mine operation that i built but have no room on this layout for but have had a lot problems get electrical pickup to this area.so how many feeder wires are we talking?I readsomewhere every six ft of track one feeder? inside rail )do i need a plastic rail feeder on opposite the track that has the feeder soldered to it(same piece of track outsie raiL?)i can take criticism here iam too old for anybody to hurt my feelings so any advice would appreciated oh and what i attempting to do is wire this thing into two maybe four individual blocks of cab control but I ve been told i gotta either use plastic feeders or make small cuts in the track and this resolder these cuts if i dont use the plastic feeders (they call em blocking plates too)too block off sections
