Imex medieval castle. in 1/76. Going to beef it up a bit with vines, a moat, swans, weeping willows, some window panes, re-enactor jousting competition.

Looking at some guys on horseback with lances and such. Italeri has a nice little set of paint your owns for $15, but I need to pull myself together and get the painting right or it will look really dumb.

I'll need to make a little ticket kiosk by the draw bridge with a OO version of Zelda taking the money.

You should put a couple of crocks in the moat.

I have posted pictures of my trestle, wire trees and trains here before. This winter has been bad for garden work, I am a gardener by trade. It seems like it started raining in October and did not quit. I got six wire trees made and then started collecting all the different types of faux foliage from a hobby store that I will need. I decided on a ⅓ acre city lot on a piece of plywood 14 inches by 21 inches and covered it in a ¾ inch layer of florist foam. I got a plastic aquarium rock formation and turned it into a hill and grotto, put a tree on top, some hedges, a pool and waterfall flowing over into the grotto. The grotto has a set of mini led lights in it powered by a battery pack, two of the lights will light up a house and garage on the lot and somehow I will also power a small motor from a slot car to run a windmill. I made a two car garage and front fence on a sidewalk with opening gates over the past week while my sciatica flared up. Now the next whole week is supposed to rain and I may get the lot finished. I want to make a stone wall on either side of the lot and backside.

The house is from a collection called Sarah Plain and Tall, I got two of these houses, a bigger house and a general store for about 6$ from a thrift store, one of the houses was damaged and I took all the windows and doors off to use

I like the approach of building both the home and its environs in one project. Taken all together, it's a really cool model.

That is really great stuff, Dragon Slayer. Don't worry, global warming will just have stuff shooting out of the ground.

I got the main home when I got the general store and her prairie house, all three with some damage or missing parts. But $2 each was a good price for at least the parts. The general store is missing a stove pipe and I can fashion one for it. The main home is missing the railing and garland on the top porch. I can make a replacement railing and don't really care about the garland. I saw the train station and church, those would be nice to add and my little town would be complete.

I have a lot accessories to get for my lot; people walking on the sidewalk, a mailbox, mailman, dogs, cats, a chicken coop with chickens, a person mowing the lawn, a lineman on one of the poles. But what ever I can, I will make. last night I went to bed with an idea of making a picnic table and this morning after my coffee, I got out my work board, Exacto knife, glue, toothpick for spreading the glue, balsa wood and tweezers. Started with googling picnic table plans, cut out the pieces and glued them together, 45 minutes total. I might make a few more and see how much the nursery would pay for one, or one sitting under one of my wire trees.
