Hi all,
Just wanted to share what I found today dirt cheap. All items in the picture cost me fifty cents each including the Santa Fe GP20 and the Chattanooga 0-8-0 and both work great. I have another Chattanooga 0-8-0 but it has a different paint job. I know there is nothing rare in the picture but all are new to me accept the BN box and the UP gon. They also gave me 2 Tyco transformers a bridge some signs and a bunch of track at no extra charge LOL!
Thanks for looking. Mike

| My kind of deal also, good find. That Chattanooga is the more difficult one to find also. The silver skirts and boiler front along with the different road number, very good find. Garage Sale???

| Is that possibly a Chattanooga Pulpwood car? If so, you had a fantastic day!

Hey All,
I found these at a flea market under one of the booth tables. I'm sure you all know that under the tables is the place to look for trains. Well it's always worked for me anyway. I was suprised to find them in such great condition. The pulpwood car is a Southern Railroad car not a Chattanooga, But rest assured I will keep looking.
Now for a question or two if you all don't mind? Did the Chattanooga 0-8-0 in my picture come in a set or seperate sale or both. What makes it more difficult to find than the other? Paint? Number made? Or?
Thanks Mike

| I don't know how that engine was delivered to the public. I too would be interested in knowing. But of all the Chattanoogas I've seen I would say at most 1 in 10 comes in that paint/number scheme.
