right hand turn out. Cash or trade.
I need to extend the Red Line siding out a bit so it is not interfacing into the Green Line- that motion creates a bit of dead end to no good effect.

Well, in this video, it would be "turn #4", where the outer siding cuts back in on a curved turnout, just before a diamond crossing. That simply routes opposing traffic head on into the opposite inner oval, and there is no way for the opposing, "Green Line" train to take a siding, so everything just grinds to a halt. Even if there was no opposing train, the incoming "Red Line" train would simply find itself trapped, as in a maze, with no where to go.
While re-arranging the garage, and cooking the turkey, I unearthed a spare Peco switch, so my problem is solved, for now. I am pondering a 4 way slip switch to allow trains to interchange from the two main lines (Red and Green).

Ah yes, the old 3 rail, that predates 1964, or something. As luck would have it I stumbled over a Peco turnout as mentioned. This increased my mainline run from two and a long siding to three mains, now.
A while back I picked up some old Hornby coaches of Ebay, and was congratulating myself on the score, until I set them up on DC- and everything shorted out. That's when I learned about 3 rail Hornby.
I put them back on ebay, where they eventually sold for some fractional amount to a guy in Wyoming. Who knew there was a OO enthusiast in Wyoming?

I do have an oval of Tri- ang OO track. It is very unique with tall rails and locking tabs on the ties. 2 rail though.
