If I can dig up some junker outside-braced boxcars at the train show I'd like to try this out. If you can't tell, it's a building fashioned from two outside-braced boxcars! The picture is from 1997, when the building had fallen into considerable disrepair.

Also since they cut track maintaince the trains had huge trouble making over the railroad by the end

I still sees these outside braced boxcars mainly used for storage at farms
but this is super cool

prolly wouldn't be hard to replicate it it in full sized
but might be cheaper to use solid steel boxcars instead

I would but keep the insides where it was cut to make the sides & roof
