Soooo I bought a box lot with a number of locos in it. Among them was a Model Power F2 with almost no track time. It was missing one of the short ball connectors between the motor and truck.

Anyone have one they could spare?

Please! lol

I bought an assortment of ball type driveshafts at a NC hobby shop awhile back. Do you know the length of it? They come in sizes from 1 inch to 3 or more. Also the ball can be different size as well. I'll look into my stash if you can get me some dimensions of what you need.

Thanks Jerry,

It's just shy of 1/2" L and 1/4" across. the ball is 1/8" in diameter w/1/16" prongs.

Why wouldn't we be? Unlike some forums that jump on you with "build a shelf layout" at every post of a tabletop layout. We have fun here :D

Well, I checked, the smallest I have is 3/4 inch long. Most of the ones I bought were 1-1/2 to 2 inches, for Tyco and Bachmann stuff. Sorry, chief!

I don't know. Coming from various gaming communities and other forums and imageboards most people seem so mean. It's refreshing to see how nice this community is. I'm glad I'm a part of it.

Awesome!

On a humourous note, I emailed MRC asking about gatting one from them. Here's what they wrote.

"For a total of $26 ($2 for the part and $24 for shipping) we can supply you with the part that you need."

For a part that can fit into an envelope and be mailed with a stamp...
