Nice buy, you don't see those Lincoln cars very often esp at that price.
My COTW is a Tyco UP 62ft Hicube boxcar that just arrived in the mail. Being mostly a steam era modeler I hadn't realized how huge this car is. Wow.

Awesome cars. Love that Lincoln car.
My COTW is actually a pair. 2 Frateschi CN passenger cars. One coach and one blunt end observation. I've never seen these online, all Frateschi I've seen is Pennsy, SF or something Australian. Only one truck was attached when I got them.
Drilling through the weight, I managed to affix the remaining trucks in place with small wood screws, lol.
I was thinking of shortening them or repainting them, but they're pretty unique, so I'll keep them with my "CN" roster.

I got 2 five car sets of the Pennsy one's at Train World in Brooklyn years ago. I kind of remember them being made by Frateschi of Brazil, but sold as Model Power. I didn't see any baggage, combine, or RPO type cars. Just numbered coaches ( chair), numbered Dinners, Name parlor cars, numbered Parlor observation cars. frank

Frank,
That makes alot of sense, and looks like they were imported under the Model Power name.

Or an old Gateway computer.
The "Australian" Frateschi passenger cars were sold by Powerline Models under their Linkline brand as cheaper alternatives to the "real" Australian cars which were sold by Lima since the 1970s. They also sold an F3 painted in the 1980s-era Australian National green and gold as a pseudo-GM class (an E8/E9 would have been closer, e.g. 6 axles not 4, and the earliest GMs were also A1A-A1A instead of Co-Co as well).

When I got mine, Train World sold the cars for 4 or 5 apiece. They sold the Frateschi of Brazil steam locomotives, 4-6-0, 2-8-0, 0-8-0 types for about $30 each. In a year they doubled and then Doubled again. They didn't stay reasonable long. I always wanted the New haven 4-6-6-4 electric they Frateschi of Brazil made. frank
