I took on the task of scanning HUNDREDS of family photos.
I must be nuts.
But anyway, here is one of the newly completed GN dock in 1916.
Oops That should say 1914
It would be destroyed in 1929 by a Nor'easter.
Thanks to my dad, who thought to record the name of the
sailing ship hull, the Will W. Case, which was used as a breakwater. Fat lot of good that did.
As you can see, it hasn't been sunk in place at the time of the picture.
