A little Spanish adobe chapel I did a few decades ago. Train by Mario Almeida, taken at the El Paso Model Train Club last week.

Neat stuff as always guys. This house was made by a company called Patel. It was one of four they did. Wish I could find the others. I'm told that Atlas released them later.

Gary, the landscaping around that house is a really nice touch, as is the car for sale in the driveway.

Thanks guys. This was the first section of my layout I considered to truly finished (after three variations) Here's a view from the park across the street.

Ditto with Chops, Gary. My building for this week is a Suydam 1887 Passenger Depot. It started out as a 1 week project and very quickly turned into a 2 week nightmare. Walls cut too short or wrong, endposts messed up. Wound up having to redo the walls and various other parts with basswood pieces.

I do like the small details that Suydam included with the kit. The benches and the Order Board are Grandt Line details. And the Order Board actually works.

Well isn't that the way it works oldtimer? You try to do a quick project and it ends up taking much longer then you planned? It's OK, the results were well worth it. After I posted that second shot I realized I had changed out the park field house and fencing. Here's a more current shot.

The old park was nice, but the new one is still a big improvement. It really looks right.

| Looks like that neighborhood is alive and well Gary. George, that 1882 station looks real fine. Dig the white with the green trim.

And, it's also for sale. The guy must be running a used car lot out of his home.

I am impressed. That Suydam kit is really top shelf. My experience of them, back in the day, is that they were sort of a cross between craftsman kits and Plasticville. This one really pops. Great job.
