I finally paid off the total amount I owed one of my train shop fellows for some HO estate stuff. I finally got my paperwork together on Monday, added it all up, and <gulp!> WOW, did I really intend to spend that much? $534 . Whew! He owed me about $100 in repairs, so the amount dropped to $434. Still a lot of cash. I went to the bank Wednesday and paid him off that evening. I don't think I'll do that again. I don't need to be spending that much, but he had a lot of hard to find and rare stuff I wanted, so I bit the bullet. Will have to make it up working the other jobs. . Anyway, a few pictures of my finally paid purchase, now they're ALL MINE.

The first four locomotives are pretty much awesome.
I am drooling over the Conrail and that Mallet in
particular.

I'm gonna treat the Burger King as a "being built" franchise, not completed, and have a glass company coming out to put in the windows. Same with the sign, too.

I already have a Clementine caboose, so don't need one, thanks.

Yeah, when the lot came through around Christmas last year, I just could NOT pass up the opportunity to grab some of this hard to find stuff. TOOK me a long time to pay for it, unfortunately. That Mallet I think is a 1960's Mantua, not the more modern 1990's repro's. Another reason I wanted to get my hands on it. I love the E60 electric, have a couple Bachmann versions, but this one is way better, and in Conrail, too. Luckily the guy was decent about my taking so long to assess and value them to buy them. I'll be happily cleaning, lubing, and tuning them up to run before too long.
