Due to inspiration from another forum member's successful re-wiring of two AHM C-liners to run together, I attempted to do the same with two Tyco F7/F9 A units. All went well (Admittedly with some fine-tuning), but real trouble appeared when one of the rear couplers' popped out of the draft gear. I mean the whole draft gear popped out. The small "screw" holding it all together actually looks more like a rivet. What small size nut and bolt combination can I use to re-install the draft gear? Or would a small size screw work as well, and what size would it be?

Man, that must have been some demonstration of "power torque", eh? [:P]

The rivet is actually a pin. If you still have it you might be able to reinstall it and peen it back, perhaps sealing it with a dab of CA (super glue). I have heard or people replacing them with screws and such; if I were going to do that I would drill it out for the standard 2-56, althout you would be unable to revert to the originals if you did that. I do not know what size actually fits, stock. Otherwise, for an extreme "tempo-cheapo" fix, I wonder if a track nail would fit... just bend it with a pair of pliers to keep it from falling out? Just some ideas; hopefully the veteran operators here will offer more.
