The Model Power Farm House. Bought years ago by my ex-wife for the farm area she wanted on the layout. As planned back then, I have 8 square feet of space saved for the farm section of my table. The only MP building I have for use and it's the only unbuilt kit I have left...

The tankers belong to Mario Almieda, a club member who commutes from Ciudad Juarez. The word is that while on a decline in the US, the burgeoning middle class in Mexico has created a strong demand for Mexican models. Twenty years ago, very little was to be found in either decal or RTR, now there is quite a bit.

It is still rather hard to come by, at least here in LA. The engines are more common but rolling stock is almost an impossible find.. I do have a few hoppers a box car and a caboose.

Yes, well, being on the Border, if you have a strong enough interest, look up Hal's Hobby Warehouse in El Paso. He's not cheap, but they do get custom runs from Athearn for Mexican roads in all manner of equipment and it sells out every time.

Love the Atlas roundhouse, Frank. Looks a lot more useful than their deck turntable.
